1. rework my thesis statement. Make it clear and concise
2. use three-four specific examples supporting my thesis
3. take paper to the writing center on monday
4. address comments made by sister Cowley and the writing center
5. read aloud to mom and give to dad to read
6. make necessary changes

# 5 -- I like your idea of giving the paper to someone outside of the BYU community to read... if they respond well or become concerned about the issue, it means you've done an excellent job with your persuading
