1. The claim, at least the implied claim, states that one can record whatever he/she wants with his/her Nokia camera phone, even if it is something outrageuous like treating cats inhumanely. According to pet lovers, this claim is unacceptable due to the possibility of pets getting injured in the process of recording these videos.

2. Students at BYU should be entitled to a longer passing period between classes. For some, 10 minutes is not enough to make it to different classrooms, some of which (according to certain peoples' schedules) could be blocks away. Also, what if a person must use a restroom for whatever case? If so, they are pressured to hurry.

That video was hilarious. Anyway, back to "claims", I think it is really interesting that Pet lovers would have a problem with the commercial when America's Funniest Home Videos has never been under speculation. Insane, considering many videos include the injuring of humans.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Maressa. some of these animal groups are a little overkill (no pun intended) and would rather injure people if it meant saving a fish (suprisingly i'm not exaggerating that much).
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, Maressa and Kendrick. I can't stand all this nonsense about preventing the construction of needed schools or hospitals to protect wood rats or endangered flies or whatever else animal rights fanatics can make up.
ReplyDeleteKatie, I see your point, but there are other places to build schools and hospitals. These animals were put on the earth for a reason. Unless you understand everything about an animal, like the activists do, it is unfair to dismiss an arguement simply because it is made by aminal rights activist.
ReplyDeleteI agree! When our classes are far apart, we don't have time for anything except to walk fast.
ReplyDeleteThere are people who will hurt others to save animals....
ReplyDeleteI agree with what Kendrick was saying. As unfortunate as it is, people are getting a little out of control with the saving of species. I understand wanting to protect things, but we have been taught all through school about the survival of the fittest, the food chain, and ultimately the chain of life... we can protect things, but we need to survive ourselves:)
ReplyDeleteOh come on, it is not like we are going to die off if we spend a little more time thinking about the environment. Survival of the fittest, is that how we are supposed to act as human beings when we have a choice. I understand killing an animal in self defense but to kill off thousands of animals and billions of insects to make our lives easier is not very justifiable.
