Issues on Campus

Students at Brigham Young University have recently been complaining about some of the issues on their minds.
Some students are comcerned with their final schedules. They want to know exactly when they are going to be having them. Especially those students from out-of-state want to know so that they can make their travel arrangements to leave this December. But are a couple of days really going to make that big of a difference?
Many students are concerned with the "freshman fifteen."
We all know and love the police beat section of the Daily Universe. The reason we enjoy reading it so much is because of how ridiculous it is. All though it makes for a good laugh, it shows what our police are doing with their time. I'm not so sure that it is entirely necessary to have so many officers when what they are doing is so trivial.
There are many students that are upset with the overpricing at the Creamery. Most of us are looking to save money right now and the Creamery just isn't helping.

  1. Concerning the schedule arraignments. Yes, I agree it would be nice to have life planned out three months in advance. However, we are adults, and as such are asked to bend to the higher power of the BYU administration.
