Dove's Campaign For Real Beauty

I decided to write about Dove's Campaign for Real Beauty. The reason why I wanted to write about it is because it mainly focuses on girls. Usually younger girls, from children to young adults. With the media being presented everywhere, from magazines to billboards. They have an 'image' of what beauty should be, and it makes us girls feel pressured to look and be a certain way. This campaign helps girls self esteem rise up, and lets them know that what they see as imperfections, is actually beautiful, and that they should accept themselves for who they are.

In the main page you can add a picture of yourself, and write something that you think is beautiful about yourself. Some girls put their eyes, hair, and etc... Some girls put a video describing that they know beauty is, and how it involves them. Dove can raise a girls self esteem, while advertising their products at the same time!

  1. It is a cool tactic for the site to be interactive, the readers will be more likely to remember the message of the campaign if they can be a part of it.

  2. I agree with you Jessie. It really engages the audience when they can participate in the subject they want to learn from.
